COPETON DAM
Copeton Dam stands out as Australia’s premier inland Murray cod fishing destination, renowned among anglers as a hotspot for catching giant Murray cod. It’s no wonder it’s a favorite, as anglers frequently land multiple fish over a meter in a single outing. The dam is also home to a large population of smaller Murray cod, along with golden perch, silver perch, redfin, and eel-tail catfish.

THE EVENT
Prepare for an exhilarating and action-packed event where the nation’s top Murray cod anglers will compete fiercely for the top prize. Victory will go to the team that lands the largest Murray cod during the intense 36-hour session. Anglers will be casting and trolling from Friday night, following the briefing, through to Sunday morning at 8:00 AM, when we’ll break for a catered breakfast. The event will conclude with a winners’ presentation followed by a series of raffle draws, culminating in the MEGA DRAW, where one fortunate angler will walk away with $5,000 worth of fishing gear and accessories.
